YIKES!!! I don't care what kind of snake I come in contact with- A snake, is a snake, is a snake!!!! When I drove up into the garage Friday afternoon this creature was sitting at my back door. Fortunately is was only an Oak snake, but that somehow hasn't eased my nerves much. I can just see Maggie Ruth or Riley Grace opening the door to him sitting there. I'd have a stroke. For those family members that read our blog- NEVER FEAR... Russell sent Uncle Darrell over to kill the snake, only he couldn't see him until I walked closer to the steps and pointed him out!

YIKES...I am glad that Uncle DW was able to come to the rescue!!!
If Uncle Darrell isn't readily available, give Kelley a call. She's pretty good with a shovel. She beheaded that rubber snake Ben and Ty put out with one whack! HaHaHa!! I can laugh about it now!
YIKES is right!!! I hate snakes period!!!
I glanced through the blogs last night before I went to bed and I DREAMED about snakes!!! They were everywhere! In our yard, in our house, we could not get out of the bed because snakes had taken over!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Kristen, I sometimes look at your blog to see what is going on with you guys. I could not believe when I saw that picture. Jeff killed a snake going in to our back door Wednesday night after church. He said he was glad that it was a baby and not aggressive b/c we surprised him. I am so paranoid now every night when I get in from work.
The best snake I like IS a DEAD snake!!! YIKES!!
That is one way to be welcomed home! I'm glad he came and killed it and that you guys are okay.
Kristen, I can deal with snakes, but mice and rats are another story! I will make a door were there's not one to get away from one.
