Well, it was a most successful week as a new student at Pleasant Home School! She was so excited to get on the bus Tuesday morning and luckily the excitement still hasn't worn off! She's got super great teachers and loves having so many of her friends around her.
Our regular first day of school pose, pack pack on, lunch box in hand, standing in the drive way. I actually took her to school the first morning because she had a load of school supplies, but she rode the bus home that day and got on the next morning.
Maggie Ruth made it through the first day with ease because she got to go to Grandmama's while I took Ryles to PHS. I was really afraid she was going to have a meltdown because all this time she's been thinking she'd get on the bus with Sissy! She's a late sleeper and hasn't even been up to see her off but one morning!
Getting off the bus that afternoon...as soon as I saw her running it was if a million pounds had been lifted from my shoulders! I had prayed all day that she'd have a good day and love PHS and God does answer prayers!!
When I asked her how her day went this was what she did!! Can't ask for much more! Thank you Lord for such a smooth and easy transition!
