I don't know about y'all but this heat is KILLER!! Being 7 weeks pregnant and feeling the need to stay far far away from it, Maggie Ruth and I don't venture out to play until the sun goes down. One day last week we were out on the patio and she was playing with Riley Grace's sidewalk chalk. I guess she decided it was easier to just lay down on the concrete to draw. I had a good laugh wathcing her.
When you run out of space on the patio, just use your feet!
Friday night I was out grilling burgers and decided that my poor potted plants were officially on the brink of death. I got the water hose out and Maggie Ruth decided she could water them for me. Once we did manage to get them wet, she took over the hose. For the next hour she chased Russell and me all over the patio trying to wet us. More than once she succeeded.
I finally got a shot of the huge smile on her face. She didn't stand still long enough to get much else.
Occasionally she'd accidentally soak her own head. At first she wasn't sure if she liked that or not, but before long she was loving it!

I think MR is adorable! She seems to be looking less like a baby and more like a little girl every time I see her!
